Neil Staub Bio
At the age of 7, Neil Staub began piano lessons which paved the way to his future in music. By the age of 9, he began instruction in Violin under the tuteledge of Timoteus Racz of Vancouver, WA. At 16, he received his first guitar. A fender DG-60, it was to be formative instrument as Neil learned and eventually became an accomplished acoustic guitarist. In Junior High and High School, Neil developed a desire for singing, receiving numerous awards and acceptance into State Solo and Ensemble finals, All State Choir, and various awards within his scholastic choir.
Marrying his high school sweetheart, the 5 years after highschool were focused less on music. At the age of 23, his marriage lost and in a career altering move, Neil re-rooted in Phoenix. After several years in the financial industry, the financial losses incurred in his previous situation began to affect his career options. Rediscovering the music he’d set down for more than half a decade, he began playing professionally as a solo artist at venues around the Valley.
In early 2012, Neil moved to Hawaii to pursue what music opportunities and experiences he could. Surviving on odd jobs and gigs, in 2013, he returned to phoenix to begin work with Rob Randolph. With musical and lyrical experiences to draw from, Rob Randolph Band and StaubMusic formally began working together with a whole new range of originals due in 2014.
